The editors from The Point Guy named BOLT the Most Innovative New Cruise Ship Attraction. BOLT is the world’s first roller coaster on a cruise ship. The roller coaster will debut when Carnival Cruise Line’s newest cruise ship, Mardi Gras, enters service later this spring. View Top Cruises on Mardi Gras
A marvel in maritime engineering, BOLT is an all-electric roller coaster encompassing an elevated track across Mardi Gras upper decks with 800 feet of exhilarating twists, drops and turns, including hairpin turn around the ship’s iconic funnel. Riders can achieve speeds of up to 40 miles per hour as they enjoy views to the sea 187 feet below.
BOLT is the centerpiece of the Ultimate Playground which features a massive water park with three slides, a suspended ropes course, mini-golf and more.
