Nine Carnival cruise ships are repatriating over 10,000 crew members around the world and here’s where each ship will go.

9 Carnival Cruise Ships Repatriating Crew Members

Carnival Cruise Line has already announced a huge repatriation effort to get over 10,000 crew members back home. 18 Carnival cruise ships are meeting in the Bahamas over several days where the crew will be transferred via water shuttles to the ship which will sail them back to their home country or region.

Nine of the vessels will be sailing to different parts of the world to take the crew back home once the transfers are complete. More than 10,000 crew will sail home, you can read our previous post on this right here. As you can see from a tweet by Ricardo R the ships have already started meeting up to begin transferring the crew:

Here is a list of the ships which will be sailing the crew back home to to Europe, Caribbean, Latin America, Asia, South Africa and many more locations:

  • Carnival Breeze: Sailing to Europe including stops at Southampton, UK; Cadiz, Spain; Civitavecchia, Italy; and Dubrovnik, Croatia.
  • Carnival Magic: Sailing to Europe including stops at Southampton, UK; Cadiz, Spain; Civitavecchia, Italy; Dubrovnik, Croatia and Istanbul, Turkey.
  • Carnival Glory: Sailing to the Caribbean with stops at St. Lucia, the Grenadines Islands including St. Vincent; Jamaica; Mexico and Panama.
  • Carnival Fantasy: The ship is sailing to the Colon, Panama and from there the crew will transit to Central and South America.
  • Carnival Dream: Is sailing to east Asia with stops in Durban, South Africa; Jakarta, Indonesia and Manila, Philipines.
  • Carnival Conquest: Sailing to east Asia with stops in Durban, South Africa, and Manila, Philipines.
  • Carnival Fascination: The vessel is taking crew back to Mumbai, India, and Durban, South Africa.
  • Carnival Liberty: the ship is also sailing to Mumbai, India and Durban, South Africa.
  • Carnival Ecstasy: The ship is the third to sail to Mumbai, India and Durban, South Africa

The other nine Carnival ships that are meeting up in the Bahamas will just remain in anchorage positions in the Bahamas and Panama. There will be limited crew on board and they will just wait until cruise operations begin once again.

At the moment Carnival Cruise Line has suspended cruises through June 26 with the first embarkations beginning on June 27, 2020. You can read the full list of when each cruise line will resume sailings here.
