Royal Caribbean is introducing new Alaska itineraries for the 2022 summer season with the deployment of four cruise ships that will sail the region. Even with cruises currently suspended, there are still lots look forward to in the years to come and cruises will make a comeback.

Ovation of the Seas, Quantum of the Seas, Radiance of the Seas, and Serenade of the Seas will offer a much longer Alaska season with 7-night cruises departing from Seattle; Seward, Alaska; and Vancouver, British Columbia.

All the itineraries are now open for Crown & Anchor Society loyalty members and then for everyone else from Wednesday, November 11, 2020.

Quantum Class Ships in Alaska

Ovation of the Seas and Quantum of the Seas will both offer 7-night roundtrip cruises from Seattle, Washington. The vessels will sail the Northwest coastline, including Victoria, British Columbia; Sitka, Skagway, Ketchikan, and Juneau, Alaska. With the ships featuring the North Star, guests will be able to enjoy stunning views of the landscape 300 feet above sea level.

Radiance Class Ships in Alaska

Radiance of the Seas and Serenade of the Seas will return to Alaska for the 2022 summer season. The Royal Caribbean cruise ships will offer week-long sailings including visits to Haines, Sitka, Ketchikan, Juneau, and Seward, Alaska.

Radiance of the Seas based out of Vancouver, British Columbia will offer an alternative northbound itinerary that also includes a visit to Icy Strait Point. The southbound voyage will have an evening call to Haines.

Serenade of the Seas which will also be operating out of Vancouver will offer full-day visits along with an itinerary that provides both the Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier, and the Hubbard Glacier, the largest tidewater glacier in North America.

At the moment, Royal Caribbean has suspended U.S. operations until 2021 and the authorities in Canada have banned cruise ships through February 2021.
