It has been revealed that a total of 21 cruise ships that included U.S. port on their itinerary have been affected by COVID-19.

Cruise Ships Affected by Coronavirus

The US Centers for Disease Control has revealed that so far 21 cruise ships have been affected by COVID-19 from nine different cruise lines. These are only the vessels that included at least one port in the United States. Also, many of the ships are already based in the U.S.

The list includes direct and indirect infections with passengers who also showed symptoms after disembarking their cruise. Some cruise ships have been affected more than others and this only includes ships that had confirmed cases.

The cruise ships which were on international sailings outside the U.S. were not included on the list such as Holland America’s Zaandam which was recently finally allowed to disembark guests at Port Everglades, Florida. Also, the Coral Princess which was sailing a South American voyage at the time and was allowed to dock in Miami was also not included on the list. Both of those vessels were impacted by COVID-19 along with several more.
